Interfaith Power and Light and RENEWAL’s producers have partnered to make it possible for RENEWAL to be screened in over 1000 IPL-affiliated congregations. This means that in coming months, in more than 29 states, thousands of people of faith will have a chance to see RENEWAL in their local houses of worship.
Following on the success of their national screenings of An Inconvenient Truth, IPL is now using RENEWAL to support its goal of mobilizing a national religious response to global warming while promoting renewable energy, energy efficiency and conservation.
These screenings will offer people of faith an opportunity to be inspired and to learn how they can put their beliefs into action by joining the growing movement that recognizes stewardship of creation is a moral, ethical and spiritual responsibility. IPL offers many valuable, practical resources for people who want to help reduce the devastating effects of global warming.
Interfaith Power and Light is, of course, the final story in RENEWAL, showing how this interfaith ministry is devoted to deepening the connection between ecology and faith.
